Welcome to the Northern Ohio Breast Cancer Coalition...

Northern Ohio Breast Cancer Coalition Fund, a member of the National Breast Cancer Coalition, is a grassroots advocacy organization created in 2000 by breast cancer survivors to promote and fund research, increase access to quality health care and increase the influence of survivors in all aspects of eradicating breast cancer. In addition to advocacy, we also provide education, referral services and financial assistance to breast cancer patients. We serve all of northern Ohio.

CCF Taussig Cancer Center Breast Cancer Symposium - Feb. 8
Reserve your seat today for the Patient's Perspective of the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium.  SABCS, held every December, is one of the largest and most influential breast cancer reseach symposiums held.  Research presented at the SABCS shows the future direction of cancer treatment, results of the latest clinical trials and often changes the way breast cancer is diagnosed and treated.

Since last year, Cleveland Clinic has presented a special program for breast cancer patients and their families in which they provide highlights of the SABCS to bring patients up to date on the latest research and treatment.  Its a fascinating program that distills the most important findings from a large and diverse body of research.

Call 216-444-7924 today and make your reservation! Its free and open to the public.  Its held at the Embassy Suites in Independence, OH (just east of Rockside Rd. & I-77) from 5:15 til 6:15 pm.  Presenters are David Weng, MD, PhD and Thomas Budd, MD.  Allow extra travel time as there's a lot of traffic in the area at that time.

Research abstracts and webcasts of selected talks are available at the SABCS web site if you would like to view them in advance.
