Making Progress On Breast Cancer
Foodconsumer.org recently published a good summary of last November's national meeting of the Breast Cancer & Environmental Research Centers at which they reported on progress of their research to date.  Our members are familiar with this program, which they spearheaded through the National Institutes of Environmental Health Sciences.  Click here to read about the meeting and how advocates have played such a crucial part in development of this research. Too bad Congress continues to drag its feet on fully funding this important research program, but no doubt we'll be advocating again this year for the Breast Cancer & Environmental Research bill.
