Affordable Care Act - New Insurance Benefits For Women's Health

The Affordable Care Act has made historic changes that improve women's health coverage.  Historically, women in the US haven't always had equal access to affordable coverage for essential women's health services.

The ACA has made great strides in providing women equal access to the health care services they need, a huge victory for women in the U.S.   The ACA has made changes already to improve access to affordable coverage for women and more changes will come in 2014.

Vitamin D Levels Linked to Aggressive Breast Tumors

A recent study conducted by the University of Rochester Medical Center showed a strong link between Vitamin D deficiency and breast cancer progression. The close correlation between low Vitamin D levels and tumor progression is strong enough to recommend oncologists monitor the levels in patients as they undergo treatment.
