Breast Cancer Deadline 2020

Tomorrow, a group of breast cancer activists from Ohio, including 6 from northern Ohio, will join hundreds of others in Washington DC. 

Researchers at Weill Cornell Medical College have discovered more about how breast cancer cells transform themselves in order to metastasize to other organs and "seed" new tumors, according to Science Daily

National Breast Cancer Coalition, through it's Breast Cancer Deadline 2020 project, recently developed a plan to end breast cancer. NBCC believes that, by focusing research efforts on the following key areas, we will have the keys to eradicating the disease.

1. Developing a vaccine to prevent breast cancer and,

2. Focusing research on answering the question of what causes breast cancer to metastasize
